Mr Tan is the co-founder and Director of Averic Capital Management Pte Ltd (ACM).
Mr Tan began his career at JTC Corporation’s Housing Development Group where he oversaw the management of Kian Teck Dormitory and Woodlands Dormitory. He was also responsible for dormitory land development where he identified and evaluated new sites for investment, and facilitated the development of supporting infrastructure. Mr Tan has worked closely with private developers and facilitated the development of two commercial dormitories with a combined capacity of 12,000 workers. Mr Tan also project-managed numerous major upgrading exercises at the dormitories and is chiefly in-charge of dormitories’ operating budgets.
Upon leaving JTC, Mr Tan held key finance positions with a private local developer before finally joining ACM. Mr Tan currently oversees the Investment and Finance Department.
Mr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate (Honours) is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Singapore.
Mr Mohamed is one of Singapore’s earliest Facilities Manager specializing in worker, staff and student accommodation facilities, with over 13 years of related experience in the industry.
Mr Mohamed started his dormitory management career with Mini Environment Services Pte Ltd (MES) where amongst his earliest assignments, he was involved in the development and setting up of Singapore’s first commercial temporary dormitory on Jurong Island in year 2000. He managed the 4,500-workers dormitory as Property Manager until it was decommissioned in year 2003.
Mr Mohamed also facilitated the development of Blue Stars Dormitory when MES won the dormitory land tender in 2001. He went on to lead the development project teams for two other major dormitories in years 2004 and 2005. At MES, Mr Mohamed successfully saw through the development of 3 purpose-built dormitories with a combined capacity of 16,500 workers. He is highly versed in the dormitory development processes and has developed strong work relations with key development authorities such as the NEA, SPF, MOM, JTC, BCA, and URA.
Mr Mohamed joined Averic Capital Management Pte Ltd (ACM) in 2007 and played an integral role in setting up the dormitory operations. He also oversaw the development ASI’s first greenfield development, Avery Lodge. He is currently heading the Operations Department in ACM.
